General Information on current flooding

1.  Flood waters did not reach the Valley Village Mobile Home Community. Residents should be able to make it back to their homes.  They are encouraged to keep an eye on river levels and forecasts.  Find current National Weather Service river forecasts and Red Rock release forecasts at: www.wapelloready.org/river

2.  Report flood impacted homes.  Find the link to report flood households impacted by flooding on the homepage www.wapelloready.org Look for the blue box with a house. DO NOT enter flood water to take pictures. Simple entry of basic information is enough for now. This should be for primary residences and businesses.

3.  The Iowa Individual Assistance Program is available for flood impacted residents.  Individuals may complete applications at SIEDA.  Visit www.sieda.org for more information.

4.  General inquires for resources may be directed to the United Way by calling 211.
